uGotFile is a leading online storage and web hosting service provider. We provide free file storage service with simple uploading and downloading process. We provide unique Remote Upload features which allowed premium member to Remotely Upload files from rapidshare/megaupload/filefactory/hotfile/... without password.

You can download as many times as you like. There is no limit on the number times a file can be downloaded.

You might have wait more than 15 minutes after our system generate the download ticket for you. If this is not the case, then you are likely behind a proxy server or having download accelerator enabled. Our system only allowed 1 connection for free member. This create a number of problems:

• Proxy Server - If your browser is behind a proxy server, you must disable it. In many case, your ISP force your connection through their proxy server. There is nothing you can do.
• Download accelerator - If you use download accelerator. You must configure it to download using only 1 connection. Otherwise, you might experience download problems.

If all failed, getting a premium account will get your problems resolved.

The maximum file size you can upload is 5120MB. However, for free member you can only upload 400MB files.

Yes! You can upload up to 10 files at a time. Adobe Flash is required. Click here to download flash player.

The download link will be displayed after the upload process is completed, along with the delete link. You can use the delete link to delete your uploaded file.

If you are signed in whilst uploading, your files will be stored on your account. You can easily manage all your files here.

Yes! But you need a premium account. You can hotlink any of your files.

You can only download files if you have the download link. Not every body want their files public.

Depending on packet roundtrip time and packet loss to our servers, your download may be slow. This may also depend on the time of day, so trying again at a different time may solve your problem.

No! Creating multiple accounts will get all your accounts suspended. If you forgot your password, you can retrieve it here.

Standard member

Your files are be stored on our server indefinitely. However, if they are not accessed for more than 30 days, they will be deleted from our servers.

Premium member

You have 200GB of permanent storage as long as you are premium member. However, you can store over 200GB. But if your your files are not accessed for 180 days, they will be deleted until you storage quota drop below 200GB.

Premium may download up to 10GB/day. If the traffic is not used up, it will rollovers for the next day up to 20GB.

You can upload files from other servers to our servers extremely fast instead of uploading from your own computer.

However, Remote Upload is unique at uGotFile. With premium account you may remotely upload files from other popular 1-click hosting services such as rapidshare, megaupload, bandongo, hotfile... without password.

You can remote upload up to 100 files at a time.

Yes, our remote upload system handle basic authentication. You can enter authentication info in the following form:

• http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@www.myserver.com/filename.zip
• ftp://USERNAME:PASSWORD@www.myserver.com/filename.zip

Yes! FTP upload is available for all registered members.

You can FTP upload with your regular username/password to: ftp.ugotfile.com After upload is completed, your file will be moved to the approriate server. You can manage all your files from your web account.

Please note that, by creating a folder in your FTP account will also create a folder in your web account. But deleting a folder from the FTP account will not delete from your web account.

Known Bugs: Resume upload is not yet available! If upload is interrupted or aborted, you will have to manually delete the incompleted file from your web account. We will have this fixed asap.

At uGotFile, we pay you to share your files. For every qualified download you get up to 10 cookies.

1,000 cookies is equivalent to $1.00. Hence, we are paying up to $100 for every 10,000 unique downloads.

• You can request payout. We will pay to your nominated PayPal account.
• You can buy premium for yourself or your friends at 70% of the official price.

You may request payout at anytime as long as your balance is at least $5. Please allow us up to 5 business days to process your request.

Yes! You can earn cookies by sharing other people files. You have 80% the chance of getting the cookies as well as affiliate sales. The files' owner gets 20%.

Our system only count 1 download per IP per day. If you have the same user downloading many different files, only one download is being counted.

No! You only get 50% from your referrals' affiliate earning (premium sales).

If you try to manipulate your cookie earning, your account will be suspended and all earnings will be forfeited.

Many people only concern about our Cookie Program, but people make much more money from our Affiliate Program. This is simply because we offer the highest paying affiliate program in the free file hosting industry. We pay 20% for every sale (rebill) and a massive 50% of your referrals' earning.

Our system process your affiliate earning monthly on the 7^th of each month. There must be such delay to enable us to calculate the 50% earning you are getting from your referral.

Our system pay you 50% of your referrals' affiliate earning.

Eg: You referred Jack & Jill.
If you earned $200, Jack earned $200, Jill earned $200.

Your total earning:
$200 + $100 (%50 from Jack) + $100 (50% from Jill) = $400

That's mean your affiliate earning is doubled.

If we receive too many unauthorized transactions from your referrals, that's 3 times more than the system's average. Your account will be suspended and all earnings will be forfeited.
